Here is an overall history of my writing experience:

Spring 2019: I am currently interning with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council as the Marketing and Communications intern.

Spring 2019: I extended my internship with Phoenix Art Museum as the Advertising & Editorial intern.

Fall 2018: I interned with V Digital Services as the Content Marketing intern and Phoenix Art Museum as the Advertising & Editorial intern.

Spring 2018: I enrolled in Cronkite News, a professional program at The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, which is the news division of Arizona PBS. Journalism students create their news content. I was a digital reporter for the Borderlands desk covering immigration topics such as the U.S.-Mexico border, humanitarian aid groups, profile stories, DACA news, and other enterprise pieces.

Starting in the summer of 2017: I freelanced with the blog for Downtown Phoenix Inc. and most recently the blog for POPPHX.

Spring 2017: I took an Intermediate Reporting class, which required publishing with at least six major publications. I did so with AZCentral, Scottsdale Independent, Mesa Independent, and AZ Big Media.

Fall 2016: I was an Arts and Culture Reporter for ASU's online student-run publication, The State Press. I wrote articles each week regarding the arts community at ASU covering topics such as music, fashion and artwork.

Fall 2015: I interned for Times Media Group, which is a digital and print media company, where I was an editorial intern. I wrote for The College Times, The Entertainer! and Valley Lifestyles MagazineThe College Times can be found at any of the Maricopa Community Colleges and ASU as well as the other magazines around the Valley. 

2014-2015: I was the Community Editor for the Paradise Valley Community College print publication, The Puma Press. As Community Editor it was my responsibility to write about any and all subjects at PVCC whether that was events, profiles of people on campus, specific clubs, leadership, etc. These articles were published in the school newspaper, The Puma Press, and also on the PVCC and Scottsdale Community College conjoined online publication North East Valley News.  

 

My stories with Cronkite News were picked up by multiple local news publications including AZ Family, Fox 10, KTAR, Tucson Sentinel, Arizona Daily Independent, and more. I look forward to writing even more for both print and digital news publications.
